The Portneuf River Greenway RiverFest Concert
August 18, 2012 11a.m. – 9 p.m.
The Portneuf Greenway RiverFest one-day music festival features local and regional bands. This year’s headliner is The Clumsy Lovers, a folk rock/bluegrass/Celtic jam band from the Vancouver area. The event will feature craft and commercial booths as well as lots of great food.
Other events include a horseshoe tournament and the infamous raffle. In previous years prizes have included camp trailers, boats and cars. Make sure you get a ticket, or several! The funds go towards the maintenance of the Greenway trail system.

Pocatello RiverFest Activities and Information
The creation of the local Greenway trail system is celebrated by the community of Pocatello with RiverFest every year. The tradition began in 1992 and this annual event offers a diverse variety of activities and entertainment for both young and old. This fun event is free to the community and raises vital funds for Greenway Trail creation through a raffle, formerly called The Duck Race.
Located at Raymond Park next to Irving Middle School on the Portneuf river, it serves as a starting point for the Sacajawea Reach Trail. It is an inspiring venue for a festival focused on raising funds for the Portneuf Greenway. Within a short distance of the park is Old Town Pocatello, filled with historic buildings, unique shops and restaurants as well as the Southeastern Idaho Farmer’s Market.
Please remember it’s festival seating, so bring blankets, chairs and other items to make yourselves comfortable for the show. There will be a large tent for shade.
Near the stage will be numerous hands-on activity booths as well as food and beverage vendors.
