“Little Killers”

Oven Temperature 350 degrees
1 pkg “Grand” biscuits
1/4 C chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 C melted butter
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C rasins
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
Frosting:
1 Cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 T butter
1 T milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Separate each “Grand” into two pieces. Roll out the dough into an oval shape. Mix melted butter with all the remaining ingredients. Spread each biscuit with the butter mixture and roll-up. Repeat with remaining biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half, place each half in a mini cupcake or tart pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool briefly. While still warm, mix frosting ingredients together and frost the “Little Killers!”
Serving Size We like to serve 1 mini “Little Killer” per person before breakfast while guests are enjoying coffee or a morning beverage.
Number of Servings If you do not separate the biscuits you can serve 12. If you separate the biscuits you can serve 24.

Cranberry, Macademia, and White Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Oven Temperature 350
3 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. salt
1 C. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 C. packed light brown sugar
¾ C. sugar
2 large eggs
1 T. pure vanilla extract
1 ½ C. dried cranberries
1 ½ C. white chocolate chips or chunks
1 C. coarsely chopped macademia nuts
Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper or Silpat liners. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl. With a mixer, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugars and mix together well. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and beat just until blended. Stir in cranberries, white chocolate chips and nuts.

Using a tablespoon, drop dough onto sheets, spacing them 1 ½ inches apart.

Bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before removing them to a rack to cool completely.
